| invitation... |
[31 May 2004|07:12am] |
today i made an invitation for mikey and lesleys wedding. grandma asked me who it was for- i thought that was a silly question- obviously it was for mikey and lesley.
oh and i went with gram and gramps to make my own stuffed animal today- mine is a pony named colby that makes noise and has a red heart inside.

| video chat |
[25 May 2004|09:12am] |
I've been video chatting a lot lately. Later on I will have a video chat with papa. I also video chat with grandma and gradndpa and helen and phyllis.
Oh my best friend Kika (she's invisible)comes to play with me everyday. Does she have a phyllis too? We like to sing songs and sometimes we fight. Mostly we play and her mom and dad come over too. Sometimes I push her in the stroller and she can ride a bik too just like me!
I guess I didn;t even post about my happy birthday. It was in Amsterdam and there was a giant cake with toy jungle animals all over it! Papa was there and lots of friends like Mira, Flip, Malou, Lucas, Floris, Glen, Doran, Chantal, Zak, Sem, Bo, Hetty, Els, Rosa, Sam, Maritska, Elena, Jennifer, Nathaniel, Marta, dave, levi, engtiem gerde, tjobo, yuki and ina there was a giabt rhino and we played ciek hap and made a banana bAr. i got a bih kid bike. i told mom every dat for tears that i thought i was ready!
tonight i read a story bout lowly worm and i said lets call her lola so we did!

| rocky butte |
[25 May 2004|09:06am] |
we're in portland. hooray! i get to see grandma every day at 7am and granpa plays with me all the time. 4 grown-ups- finally i get the attention i deserve!!
today dad took me on a field trip alone- just me and him to rocky butte. i got to see the city from on top of a falling down old castle.
Oh and I've been making the folks crack-up- I'm a funny lady. We played "Lets pretend Im an old Lady" and mom asked "How old are you?" and I said twenty-six. She just laughed and laughed and said wow. thats very old.
Did I mentioned lately that I can read? Yes, I'm a smart lady too. When mom says "Find the word Cat or Mom or Blueberries" I can find it. I can find almost any word because I know what they sound like.
My favorite car is a pink car. I still dont like going to sleep and when I'm tired I like to push my face really hard into my brothers head. Boy do mom and dad get upset. I've spent quite bit of time in time out these days. I don;t mind though, I always find something to play with. And then I scream "I have to pee" and after I do I scream "Is me done?" Yeah, they're still putty in my hands.

man this weekend was a nonstop family fun adventure saturday we met up with karen, herman and eamo at the semiprivate playground near their house, they have keys to the trike shed and the sandbox toy shed. we made sand castles with a huge recycling bin, daddy and herman could barely flip the thing over it was so heavy. i really love these little play houses at that playground, i like to pretend i'm cooking lots of food for everyone. i made eggs and tofu and blocci and tomaynoes and ...
well, emo and i started to communicate a little bit after about an hour, even though we have no idea what each other is actually saying. the parents were busy most of the time drinking a lot of coffee while eamo kept sliding down the slide head first almost crashing into me every time. can't he see me sitting down in front of the slide?
so then we took a little trip to herman's studio and had some lunch then me and aemo started chasing daddy around and around till he'd fall down, then we'd jump on him repeatedly, slam slam slam!! great fun.
more about sunday later...

| had a long windy day riding around on.. |
[11 Oct 2003|02:20am] |
highlight of today: me counting to ten really really fast, really really really fast. lowlight: being sent to my bed for jumping on the shrimp baby, and screaming "mommy! are you turning around?!" at mom's back as she lay in bed, i think i heard her and dad giggling.

| nature preserve |
[03 Jun 2003|10:09pm] |
i forgot how to write , but now i think i have it down:
the folks took me out to the queens nature preserve for a nice weekend out of hte city. it was cool, we took the subway way up into the indian part of queens, called jackson heights, and then a bus for almost an hour out to the coast.
so anyway the place was DOPE seriously like being off in some foggy northern islands or something granted it was a rainy and crappy day, but still, hedge lined paths into swampy marshes, geese honking everywhere, tons of poison ivy, TONS of caterpillars, a turtle breeding ground, oh and a horseshoe crab beach, it was even the season for egg laying, but all we saw were dozens of overturned and empty shells. those suckers get huge! man kinda creepy things, i member seeing them at the aquarium, and i did not want to reach in and “pet” one, are you serious? c’mon!
anyway
that indian hood had a great hangout spot, got some insane sugary treats, and basically headed home to dry ourselves off.

| bug soup |
[17 Mar 2003|12:35am] |
mom made bug soup the other day i don’t think she meant to
i saw tracy pulling something up out of her bowl very carefully, and at the same time dad was frantically swatting at something in his neck hairs. mom tried not to ask tracy about her find, but the question forced itself out. as soon as she said something everyone else chimed in with, “yeah, i thought i saw some suspicious things in mine as well” dad was already half way done with his bowl, erik insisted on salvaging the tofu that had been swimming in his soup some people tried to choke down some more rice and seaweed and salmon, but the feeling of infestation had taken hold tracy declared a thoroughly lost appetite, diann seconded the motion, dad was intent on not letting the salmon go to waste vigo and i were furious “bug soup, bug soup” we chanted in protest against the removal of our bowls! banging spoons on bare tables failed to reconcile the loss why take the food away in the middle of the meal
what are bugs anyway???

| overview |
[16 Mar 2003|05:48pm] |
vigo rocks, i give him kisses all day long, big sneak up behind the back bear hugs neck pecks i’m not sure he appreciates them the way i do, but he’ll learn
he’s still a pretty big brat when it comes to snatching every single thing that i ever have in my hands it gets a bit old.
i’m not sure where the line is when like he’s climbing into my chair, and i really don’t want him there, i tell him, “No vigo” but he doesn’t listen, is it wrong for me to push him out? bump him out? what’s the difference between very firmly holding my ground and actually getting a little too rough. i hear mom and dad asking each other the same thing, maybe there isn’t a clear answer.
anyway i used my butt to bump him off the stroller the other day, and he toppled over onto his head and was wedged pretty helplessly between the rolling garment rack and the wall it didn’t get any bad reaction but then another day i kicked him in the face for the same thing and i got a time out
so what ? i can use my butt as a weapon, but not my foot?? why!?!?!?!

| duck poop pizza |
[16 Mar 2003|05:42pm] |
down on the waterfront where the herds of ducks lay their cylindrical feces my folks took me to play. bikes laid down crooked on pedal and bar photosynthesis waiting till spring to app(e)ar. “don’t touch the ground with your hands my dear child, those hands are for pizza, we don’t want you to catch some bizarre meningitis.” the ride home was so fast i was sleeping for sure i got sand in my bed from shoe removal at four.

i went tattoo crazy today, HUGE green chest work on myself, then nice primitive style facial tats on mom and dad they tried to get a nice group photo, but the battery died (likely excuse for the shy and vain!!)
today also , amanda and i were on the set of a tv show called 3rd watch, all about fire dept stuff, and mandy just about wet herself over this hunky guy who kept looking over at her, i think he was the star or something they almost kissed too when they finally met, i could sense the tension she’s got magnetism
then she was on the phone for like half the night telling everyone the story, over and over again,
it was cool to see her soooo excited
i think mom may have got a job offer today too for some av place in jersey i know i know but its something
and i know i need some new clothes and toys soon very soon HINT HINT
oh and today was vigo’s birthday, his party is tomorrow, so we didn’t do anything special yet, but tracy has been working like a posessed woman making him a really rad turtle pin(~)ata full of homemade books and toys and these really dope paper mache masks!! so fresh, i can’t wait to growl with one on (we’ve been wearing thsoe mexican wrestling masks lately adn running around growling at erik and daddy, scaring them really good)
and i guess mom and dad are making all the party hats, like they usually do, theyt’re waiting till the last minute to even think about em i heard something about helium balloon hats that levitate over the kids heads cool i guess
